In the cup, the leaf imparts an almost forest green with golden undertones. It has an appealing natural smell of dried hue which also transpired in the flavour like asparagus. It is fresh and lively on the palate leaving your taste buds invigorated.
  • Summer Solstice Muscatel- A truly remarkable Darjeeling Second Flush Tea which can called a true Muscatel from the celebrated Makaibari Tea Estate. Harvested between the months of May and June, after April showers, the leaves have a more distinguished, refined and well-rounded flavour with delectable notes of peach and plum. A genuinely delightful and enjoyable summer special tea!
  • Summer Solstice Muscatel- Second Flush teas are frequently chosen over First Flush teas by aficionados of robust and full-bodied teas since the flavour is greater. The scent of muscatel is quite unique.
  • Summer Solstice Muscatel- The flavour develops in part as a result of sap-sucking insects such as jassids and thrips damaging the immature tea leaves. As an insect repellant, the tea plant generates terpene. The muscatel taste comes from the greater terpene content.
